RIVER Blatnica Country Lodge - 2 Self Contained Apartments
If you want a tranquil experience, close to nature and a relaxing environment by a mountain stream then our RIVER Lodge could be exactly what you are looking for. It is located in the Turiec region between the mountains of Small and Great Fatra. You can find us in one of the most beautiful villages of Turiec - in Blatnica, at the entrance of Gaderska and Blatnicka valley.
Blatnica is characterised by the folk building architecture, i.e houses with arched closed gates from the late 18th century to the middle of the 19th century and barns placed around Blatnica stream. Above the village is Plesovica hill, where Blatnica castle is situated. It's a fortified settlement with remnants of rampart fortifications which are clearly visible even today. This marks the start of a beautiful walk to Ostra and Tlsta. Valleys and surrounding hills are easily accessible which offers you many options for hiking and walking in serene countryside.
You can enjoy beautiful backdrops of Martinske Hole, Tlsta and Ostra hills right from the window of your apartment. For hiking and biking try Blatnicka and Gaderska valley. If you visit in winter, you can enjoy skiing in the Martinky winter park, Jasenska valley or Snowland Valca. For a nice day out, try Turčianske Teplice (10km) SPA, the water park, the summer thermal pool; Martin (15 km away) offers culture, history, museums; Bojnice, Žilina has a castle and zoo.
This lodge consists of two spacious apartments (RIVER A and RIVER B). Each apartment has its own entrance. Both apartments are independent from each other.
Accommodation is suitable for short or longer stays and ideal for hiking, biking skiing, cross-country skiing, visiting nearby towns, museums and castles. It is also suitable for making your business stay more pleasant.

River A has a living area 120 m2.
The ground floor consists of a living area with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge with LCD/TV/SAT and a fireplace stove. There is a bathroom with a shower and a toilet on the ground floor. The cosy atmosphere is accompanied by stylish wooden furniture. The exit from the kitchen leads you to the terrace, where you can relax close to the Blatnica stream. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Each bedroom has double bed. The bathroom upstairs has a bath and a toilet. You can admire the beautiful Turiec scenery from the balcony.
Maximum occupancy is 4 persons with the possiblity of an additonal 2 persons using the sofa in the living room.
River B has a living area 90 m2.
The ground floor consists of a completely equipped kitchen and dining area and a living room with LCD/TV/SAT. The bathroom, with shower and toilet, is on the ground floor. Directly from the living room you will find the terrace, where you can listen to the murmur of Blatnica creek. There are two bedrooms and a bathroom on the first floor. One of the bedrooms has a double bed and a sofa bed suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. In the other bedroom there is a double bed and another bed. The bathroom wth a shower and toilet is on the first floor.
Maximum occupancy is 5 persons, but using the sofa bed in the bedroom it can be increased to 6 adults or 5 adults and 2 children.
